Stone Oil Leather Satchel by CraftedSteampunk Stone Oil Leather Satchel by CraftedSteampunk
This Stone Oil Leather Satchel is 13 inches wide, 11.5 inches tall, and 4 inches deep. It has a pocket on the inside for a tablet, as well as pockets, pen holders, and space for binders, books, and folders. The re-sizable strap attaches using solid brass trigger snaps. This is my second bag, and it was made as sort of a commission. The next bag will be courier style and large enough to hold my DSLR.

That's gorgeous, fantastic work!

I do have one small suggestion though. I've used that same closure on a few projects lately, and had the same issue with the rivets sticking out the edges. If you're getting your rivets from Tandy (and I imagine other places do the same thing), the diameter of the post shaft is the same regardless of its length. If you've got some extra-small rivet caps around, you can set the closure with those caps on whatever size post you were using to begin with and it sets exactly the same as if the post and cap were matched. Took me forever to sort it out, so I figured I should share :)

No problem! I'm kind of amazed that they started carrying all these great closures, and didn't decide to package rivet sets that would work easily with them!
